Ed Tech Workshops Overview
The Educational Technology group, which includes
the staff of the Learning Technology Center (LTC)
and Media Services & Distribution Center (MSDC),
conducts workshops on various topics each month.
Some workshop topics are
- Blackboard Features & Tools
- Effective Use of Technology in Teaching
- Strategies for Online Teaching
- Integrating Technology into Teaching
- Smart Sympodium Classrooms
- Personal Response Systems
- Supported Ed Tech Software: Camtasia/Snagit;
Adobe Elements; Inspiration; Impatica
The Ed Tech group also co-sponsors with CTE and
the Gumberg Libary Lunch Bytes,
an informal monthly event that showcases effective
uses of educational technology in teaching, learning,

Special
Department/Program/School Workshops
The Ed Tech group will also conduct workshops
and training to meet Department, Program, or School
needs on topics ranging from classroom presentation
software to Blackboard to supported educational
technology software. We will work with you to
tailor the workshop to meet your needs. Many times
these special workshops are collaborative efforts
with Ed Tech, Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE),
and the Gumberg Library.

Department/School Training on the request form.
